Western Hills avenges 2 regular season losses to beat Woodford and advance to play Franklin County on Friday night in the finals of the 41st District.

Wow! Didn't expect that outcome.

WHHS has a solid basketball team. They had a great game plan last night. I have seen this team play several times and when they play their best is when they listen to the Coach.

Western Hills has all the parts to be a good basketball team - two quick guards that handle the ball well, a smooth/high schoring small forward (6'3"), a athletic and long power forward (6'4") and a big/physical center (6'7"). Just do not always seem to play as a team. As CoachBuckett mentioned, play well when listen to the coach and play as a team (not 5 individual parts). Hills has the atheltic ability to play with Franklin Co., but must rebound and play team defense. Hills is a better than their record would indicate.

Surprised by this one, but good job Western Hills. Last year Franklin County was very fortunate to win the district final over Hills.

This doesn't surprise me Hills has potential.
