Final.

The Rebels pulled this one out late in the 4th on Senior Night after trading leads for most of the 2nd half. I don't have stats, but I am sure Aumiller had around 20 points, and Glasscock had a good game also with a big shot late in the 4th that gave us a 3 point lead 52-49 to give us more breathing room as we put Pulaski County away. I think if Aumiller would have made more of his free throws he would have had 30+. I heard someone shout at him to quit turning his head and I noticed then that before he releases the ball, he was turning his head ever so slightly. I hope he can fix this before next week. Free throws are huge come tourney time and according to the Advocate Messenger we shoot 59% as a team. I also think that Rees MacSharara looks like he is playing with more confidence now as he seems to be playing better every game. That's a plus heading into the tourney. Big win on Senior Night, it's always good for the seniors to win their last home game, even though we do host the district tourney this year.

Good luck next week Rebels!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Let's get hot next week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was hoping Pulaski Co. would get some momentum heading into the District Tournament next week.

I'm picking the Maroons over Somerset in the 47th District final. Any of those four have a chance to win a district title. Unfortunately, all of those four are almost guaranteed a first round region loss.

Pulaski played a good 2nd half. It wasn't until late in the 4th that we secured the win, but I thought they played inspired ball in the 2nd half, especially after the kid hit the half court shot at the 3rd quarter buzzer to make it a 1 point BC lead going into the 4th instead of a 4 point lead. They might be able to take a little momentum even though they lost.
