I can't believe there are still officials out there that would referee his games.:D

Coaches get technical fouls. I don't understand why it is such a big deal that Coach Hicks gets one. He is doing a really great job here in Bath County. We are glad to have him. I have seldom seen anyone on here give him kudos for turning a program around and bringing success to a school.

Furtermore...What coach doesn't want their kids to get a good whistle? I think it is great that he is passionate about the game.

Congrats Bath for a win on the road!

Were you at the game? I like to see a coach that is passionate as well, but this was crazy tonight. I was embarrassed for the folks from Bath Co. There is a line that can be crossed and it seems there are a couple of coaches in the 16th that cross it night in and night out. What's a shame is that you can get by with acting this way and only getting a technical.

I was there......I think the ref shoving an assistant coach and the ref being restrained by another official is crazy. Bath has nothing to be embarrassed about. The referee should be embarrassed for not keeping his composure.

Again - Way to go Bath Co.! Good rally at the end amist controversy.

I could not agree more. I was at the game and I've seen Coach Hicks get more upset in games before last night, the ref just did not keep his composure and let the game get out of control. I also think it was totally un-called for when the ref shoved an assistant for Bath! Seems to me that the ref shouldn't be allowed to call varsity games if he is going to act like that, and for another thing, to my understanding before last night Coach Hicks was the only 16th region coach without a technical this year!!!!

Who officiated this game?

Dave Anderson, Scooter Charles, Paul Lewis

And I speak for the majority of the rest of the region, we're glad you have him too!:thumb:
