Final per WBRT-AM.

Darren Ballou hit a pair of FTs with 2.5 to ice it for AC. Bardstown's Rashaun Phillips had a good look at a 15-footer that could've tied it, but couldn't knock it down.

The 5th Region tourney is going to be a lot of fun.

Can a mod combine the two threads, please. Thanks.

Bardstown has a very good team and it look like they were going to run away with it in the 1st Qtr. This was thier 1st loss in the 5th region and I think they play North Hardin who is undefeated in the region with wins over Adair Co and Taylor Co in very close games. Yes the 5 region tournment @ Marion County is going to be exciting! Does anybody know how many 3's Btown hit, I know it was a bunch.

Adair Co. 56 Bardstown 52 (OT)

Bardstown 23 8 8 10 3 52

Adair Co. 14 12 15 8 7 56

Bardstown (19-8) -- Downs 12, S. Edelen 6, D. Edelen 8, Cochran 5, Hickman 11, D. Phillips 8, R. Phillips 2.

Adair Co. (21-6) -- Ballou 30, Sandusky 11, Murrell 7, Helm 2, Fudge 3, Young 3.

Bardstown hit 6 threes and Adair hit 5 threes. Very good game. Darren Ballou played an awesome game.

Sounds like this was the Darren Ballou show. Nice win for AC.

5th region is tough, top to bottom.

Sounds like a heck of a game.

I attended this game and it was a great game for both teams. Ballou played a heck of a basketball game. It was a good win headed into district tournment play for the indian's.

I think the 5th Region is a 4 dog race with North Hardin, Adair County, Taylor County, and Bardstown.
