Thoughts?

I think HC will try to hold the ball the entire game. It's not entirely out of the question. Sure the Bulldog's pressure will give them fits. Sure, the Bulldogs will win, but maybe not by as much as one might think. Do you remember 4 years ago in the Regional @ Holmes where HC played Dixie and held the ball the last 2 minutes of every quarter to eventually lose by a point in a low scoring affair??? They know they can't run with Holmes. Even a sorta slow game's not gonna get it. Their only hope in Haites is to play a dramatic stall ball game which they've shown in the past that they are not ashamed to do. As long as there's no shot clock in H.S. Basketball, it's totally legal and a perfectly viable game plan. As boring as it might be, I think it's the only plan that would come close to working for the Indians. Of course it won't, but if it's what they choose to do, look for the score to be a lot lower than one would expect with Holmes only winning by about 10. If HC chooses to try to make a normal game of it, then it's certain death and a major blowout. With it being do or die, I say they're gonna give it a whirl.

The poll is definetely premature, but the game is obviously on Holmes fans & coaches minds.

 

This post isn't about who's going to win the game, just can't beleive anyone would say it's not on fans or coaches minds with the above evidence.

Obviously it's on the coaches mind, but my point was there are other games to worry about before this one. It's too early to make a prediction is what I'm getting at.

You are correct, WAY too early for coaches and players to be thinking about this game, well at least Holmes players.
