BGP #12 Lexington Catholic falls on the road.

 

Jackson County is 17-4 on the year; 1-2 in district 49.

What a game 2 technical fouls called on Lexcath - anyone had this happen -- first one called on coach because as the coach left to go to the locker room at half made a comment about the way the game was called and a fan from Jackson County told the ref what he said - so to start the 2nd half a tech was called against Lexcath. 2nd tech a Jackson County player shot a foul shot and a Lexcath player thought it was only one shot and jumped in front of Jackson County shooter to blockout and ref called a tech because she blocked out and should not have because she was suppose to get a second shot? Jackson player hit some big threes to keep them in front -

Was there, only one "T", on the coach. Think the 2nd situation was actually a one and one, but the ref called the foul because of how severe the blockout was on the shooter. Not sure, but from my view that's what it looked like. They emptied the lane because the shooter still had the second shot of the 1 and 1 to complete. Then same shooter shot the double bonus. Least I think that's right. Anyone know how many pts the Jackson PG had? Seemed like she and #20 had a big night. Catholic missed a lot of free throws too.

Free throws Lex Cath shot 41 and Jackson County shot 47.

 

JC played a 2-3 zone and Lex Cath played full court man.

 

Naturally with contrasting defenses JC would shoot a few more free throws.

 

Fouls were actually really close with both teams in the double bonus both halves.
