Anybody watch the D1 prospect for Grainger County last night @ hchs. Pretty nice player. What did everyone else think. SEC type player?

I thought Harlan County had a Division I prospect for a minute there.

 

Skylar McBee is the senior guard for Grainger. He scored 39 and is very impressive. Bruce Pearl watched him play Friday, according to the Knoxville News Sentinel.

I think with some work he could be a SEC player. He was without a doubt a All-American player in my mind.

He was one of the best players that I have seen in sometime, he has great range on his jumper, handles the ball with either hand, can drive to the rim and finish, he has unreal elevation on his jump shot, he also has decent size and length. All in all it was a very entertaining game, McBee reminds me of a former Cawood standout the had a pretty good career in the SEC.:popcorn:

I am surprised that you would go to a Harlan CO. game since the talent is so sub par to years past! lol just goshing ! I am thinking this one may be a little more athletic than Cox but JMHO!

McBee is pretty good, but I wouldn't put him in Cox's league, even if he is bigger and can jump higher.

One thing you have to look @ is Cox played on better teams than Mcbee. He is the total team focus every game.
