ColonelMike Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 The full (you need to click on the above link to see it) poll. Looks pretty good IMO... Evidently, the poll writer also writes for Chief Justice Roberts...it's not "Louisville Christian Academy", it's "Christian Academy of Louisville"! Big game tonight: #8 CAL vs. #7 Sacred Heart. I still suspect that Rowan County is way too low on this poll. The Lady Vikings have an impressive 20 point win over a very good Boone County squad, a win over Lafayette (which beat #11 Paul Dunbar), a win over Notre Dame, and a 10 point victory over #2 Manual. They'll have their opportunities to prove their mettle though: 1/31 - vs. LexCath, 2/6 - vs. Lexington Christian, and 2/13 - vs. Montgomery County. If they beat the teams currently ranked #4, #10, and #12 and still aren't in the top 10, well... :idunno: North Hardin may well be overlooked...at #5! The Lady Trojans have lost just one game vs. KY competition - to Elizabethtown, and they recently have avenged that defeat - and they're averaging a whopping 75 ppg in their current 8 game winning streak.:notworthy: (among the 8 victims: Etown and Nelson County) Can't say that I'd move them up any, myself, but they may make their own case for #1, depending on how they finish vs. a strong schedule that includes #9 Mercy (tomorrow night), #19 Marion County, #7 Sacred Heart, #12 LexCath, and #11 Paul Dunbar...
