After watching the ending, I think what happened was pretty simple...USC missed the FT that could've sent the game to OT and everyone on Florida's team (including the coach) assumed victory. They didn't even think about the possibility of USC having a chance. They should've put all 4 guys on the other side of halfcourt. By leaving two guys in the paint, they also took a risk of a silly foul that could've led to free throws. Donovan had a bonehead moment.

Billy is better than that. Surprised he didn't at least have two more players back on South Carolina's side of the court.

If they didn't practice that before, then those two players have the most composure I've ever seen.

 

For sure. The guy said he looked at him and said go deep if he makes or misses. Maybe they play on the same flag football team or something.

That's amazing - especially considering how well it was executed. That was one heck of a throw under pressure and then for the other guy to have the composure to go all the way to the rim. Many players would've fired up a runner...
