Final. Big district win for the Lady Raiders. Probably a mild upset the way Morgan had been playing lately.

Congrats to Coach Hag and the Raiders, but thought this game would have been a close game, any details?

East Carter's defense had a lot to do with Morgan's lack of offense. The Lady Raiders held Morgan Co. to 10-47 shooting. Leslie Eagle missed several shots within 10' and several layups, she got shots but couldn't finish. East was balanced in scoring as well and whipped the Lady Cougars and avenged the earlier loss to Morgan Co.

 

It's possible Morgan could return a double digit scorer in Soph. Brittany Stamper within the next week, if so, that should take a lot of pressure off of Eagle and Tessa Henry, who has stepped up and played very well.
