gchs_uk9
Pretty good ballgame. Garrard pushed the lead to six after one, thirteen at the half, and it pretty much stayed there the rest of the night. Garrard wasn't at their best, but most importantly they pulled out the victory. It sort of seemed like Garrard had an eye on Lincoln this coming Friday. The Lions were led in scoring by Tyler Woods with 29 points. I'm biased, but I think Woods is the best pure shooter in the 12th Region. But the real straw that stirs the drink for Garrard is Justin Ray. He doesn't score a ton of points, but he absolutely stuffs the stat sheet - best passer, rebounder, and ball handler on the team. If you shut down Ray completely (and that's tough), then you can beat Garrard.

Thomas Magnum
Williamsburg was coming off a tough loss to cross town rival Whitley County, I am sure that they were down after the way that they lost, being on the road, and a pretty good Garrard team was a recipe for a loss.
