Great game for Ashland, they are playing very well. Congratulations to the Tomcats.

 

The game was good, Ashland would stretch the lead out to 11, then Raceland would close the gap to 5 or 7, then it would start over again. Pretty good game, all in all.

 

Raceland seems to be maturing. They are definitely playing better then two weeks ago. If they keep working, the district could be very interesting with Greenup County, Lewis County, and Russell.

Ashland had four players in double figures. Same thing hurt them tonight that has hurt them in the past though, unforced, for the most part, turnovers. Once they get the bugs worked out I think they will be a lot more formidable.

I think both teams are going to get better by next month. I think turnovers and free throw shooting should be on both teams wish list. Good luck to Ashland in the remainder of the season, I am sure they will be making some noise.

Raceland is a young team that imo will be much better by Tourney time. Sounds like Raceland played the Tomcats pretty tough and just fell to a better team.

Keep working hard Rams good things will happen.

I missed listening to this one, was watching the Fiesta Bowl and former Raceland standout Aaron Pettry kick fg's of 43 and 51 yds vs. Texas(sorry, just had to get that plug in:D).

Game definitely marked by alot of turnovers. That happens some games and Ashland played through that and kept their composure.

Not a very big crowd for either team.
