They are young I think they start 2 or 3 freshmen 1 or 2 sophmores and a senior. The more they play the better they are getting. IMO could be the second best in the 64th by seasons end.

Should be 1 Freshman, 4 Sophomores and a Senior.

They will definetly be good as the years go on, but I personally think West Carter will be the team to beat in 2 yrs from now.

Yes some have been held back but that is legal. As long as they do not turn 19 before Aug. 1 they are legal.

I clearly understand that, and it is no secret. Nor does anyone have a true problem with that. It happens everywhere.

Bad part about trying to prove Rose Hill's case is, they have not even beat a team with a winning record yet.

They game the won over Corner Stone Christian was (4-1) going into that game, I know they are probably pretty weak. I agree they will not beat anyone in the top 5 in the 16th this season. But I have seen both Rose Hill and Boyd play and Rose Hill is at least 10 points better than Boyd. IMO

If they beat Boyd County, then they still havent beat a team with a winning Record.:p

They may not be a very good team I don't know but what you are saying is not true. Corner Stone Christian was 4-1 going into yesterday's game with Rose Hill. So they have beaten a team with a winning record.

I didnt state that they were a better team than previous years but I do believe that they have more talent over all than any other RH team except that of the OJ led teams. Last year was a two man show. There were talented kids last year but they were not used as a team the way they should have been. That is not a reflection of Coach Fraley or the kids, is just the facts and it happened for whatever reason.

Terry and Gregg are probably the best freshmen in the region, and two of the best players in the district along with Evans, Jackson and Collins of Fairview.

I am not going to give a run down on the top ten players at the Hill but they have the talent to be a top 3 or 4 team this year in the Region.

0 and 4 is not a good start that is for sure but let me stand up for some coaches in our region this year.

Kidwell at Russell

Wooten at Boyd County

Bush at Rose Hill

These coaches have inherited a mess and have taken on a personal journey of pulling hair and staying up late at night trying to solve and fix problems.

Kidwell and Wooten have major over hauling to do from bottom to top

(Grade school to Varsity)

Bush has a good feeder system (Thankfully). His coaching is going to be more teaching this year, he has very few experienced players back. But they still have the talent to win.

Euton and Jackson are hard to replace but Davis was not a factor (Good player but hard to play when on the bench) So I stand by my statements that this years team has more talent than last years team that was on the floor.

I would rather play 5 on 5 anyday then play 2 on 5.

Bush wasn't the only one at Rose Hill that inherited a mess.

If we are going to start talking about the ages of players and hold backs we should start another thread and discuss all the schools that have done it. RH seems to get singled out on things that other schools do. If it is legal for other schools to do it why isnt legal for Rose Hill?

Glad to see you reading....yes... you are right so did the girls coach at Rose Hill.

Duck, I'm very surprised to say the least the you are picking Rose Hill by 9+. But I do thank you for that. I am going with my Royals to win by 10+.:thumb: They will be ready for the Lions and they will be playing on their home court. I do agree with syndromex that last year it was a two man show and some of these other kids could not showcase their talents and now they can do so. These kids have awesome talent and now they have a chance to shine. John Bush is an outstanding coach who is doing great things at Rose Hill. Go Royals!!!!!!!!!!:thumb:

I could live with this point. Point taken well:thumb: Just wish you would have said it that way originally.:thumb:
