Tristan Cackling had 41 points 12 assists 11 steals and 8 rebounds on 16-22 from 2 and 6 for 6 3 pt shooting in a 97-86 win over Maysville St. Patrick today.

Chris Hoover added 17 points and 9 assists for the Engineers.

Wow, what a shootout

St Pat had a big lead in the 1st half again, but can't hold the deal.

Hinson needs to get those boys running suicides the rest of the season. Starting out strong early and not finishing, lots of fouling which is lack of discipline and laziness. This team has enough talent to beat the likes of Bracken and Estill County.

Estill is no pushover and as far as fouls St. Pat shot 31 to Estill's 18. The Patties will be fine. They are well coached and the kids play hard. They ran into a Buzzsaw in Cackling

9 - 11 points is not a big lead in the modern game.

How many of those 31 did they make? Free throw shooting had been a problem. Agree about the well-coached, but they seem to get out runned at the end of games, at least in their losses anyway.

This kid shot the ball well, but I dont think he was perfect from beyond the arc. I know he missed 2 shots from there.

Whatever. I was there and seen it.

It is early and kids fading is a problem on many teams right now - they will all get in better shape unless they are plain lazy - which I don't think is the case with St. Pat or Estill.

So was I and I had the pleasure of seeing it as well.

Im not trying to take anything away from him. He was in a zone and can really stroke it.
