Fardo is a nice player, I used to watch him play AAU ball with the NKY Irish a few years ago.

 

How are the Brossart Big's? I just checked out the very nice Mustang website and noticed they have a 6'5, 6'3 and 6'2 group. All St. Mary's boys by the way, they must have had the biggest 8th grade team in NKY. LOL

6'5" Joe Jennings is a project with potential. Practicing two hours every day is making him a basketball player. Has to drop a few lbs and become a bit more assertive, but could fit into our long-range plans.

 

6'3" is football player Matt Kramer, who has been a most pleasant surprise this year. Another wide body who is fundamentally sound and has made major contributions in each of the games played so far this season.

 

We have a pair of 6'2s - Austin Hinkel and Austin Trentman

Trentman is a St. Mary boy who has grown like a weed over the summer and improves on a daily basis, while Austin Hinkel is from Sts Peter and Paul, is related to Nathan/Justin/Brad Seiter and has nice touch from in close and is another on the rapid improve.

 

Fardo is a sweet shooting, highly intelligent basketball player, who makes great decisions and can take over a ballgame.

 

Tonight was by far, the team's most complete performance against quality competition. They head to the Holy Cross Holiday tournament next week where they should meet up with some more challenging opponents.
