Brady Highchew can flat out fly..He had numerous deflections and steals.. The big boy for NCC had a nice game also..HHS could do nothing with him...

Brady is a tremendous athlete. If a spot opens up on the JV this year, I don't see him playing much more Frosh ball. He was a tremendous AAU player along with Brossart's standout Frosh Zach Fardo.

Who did Highlands start? Reekers, New, True, Towles and ? This class seriously lacks a big fella. They had to call up 6'3 7th grader Nick True to give them any size.

 

Brady is a good athlete and will definitely be a contributor to the Varsity next season as a Sophomore.

Towles should be pretty decent size, but my guess is he is playing the 3. True is a banger. Reekers is a very good kid and very coachable.

The older Ture didn't play..I think he has a bum ankle. Merrill played alot and is pretty agressive. They really don't have a go to player. New has the best game on the team.. HHS is small and gets out rebounded..

Wow, they are pretty thin this year. Not sure where these skill players will fit in after this year. Didn't last years Frosh have a loaded class of guards/small forward's?

If Jake True didnt play and they only lost by 6 then I think that is a pretty good showing. Jake is the go-to guy they were missing, he is aggressive and takes it to the hole. Carter is a playmaker as well. Towles and Reekers need to assert themselves more because they have nice size and are athletic. With Merrill bangin under the glass this could be a pretty good team. From what I heard this year's frosh had numerous games as 8th graders either in the bag or close near the end and lost. They lacked the guards to control the game last year but with Carter New out there I dont know if I would go as far as say that this year. I think CArter can be a really good point guard for the Birds.
