What kind of offense does Madison Central Run?

 

A LOT of running the football...they try to use their speed to their advantage, getting their backs to the perimeter and then taking off. Every now and then you'll see some screen passes, etc. But if you're gonna beat MC..you stop the run.

Kavanaugh, Simpson pace Indians' Ground Game

Central should win this game. Running behind the Warford kid helps so much, and compliments those fast backs a great deal. Look for Tyler Mays to have a big impact in this game. For me he is their overall best player, the kid can do it all, and is tough to throw on. I hope Central wins, but under Coach Turner this is the time of the year where his teams begin to struggle. He has so much talent on the field and should be able to challenge and win a region title.

If Central doesnt take advantage of the one on one matchup on the receiver then they will have a tough time running the football and could be a long night. If you dont make Male adjust to double cover any of your receivers then they will have 8-9 in the box and youre not running it!!!

As Slapfest mentioned, Tyler Mays has been doing it all for this team as of late in all 3 phases of the game. He is going to have another great game if MC is to win.

 

Male's losses (Louisville Central, Eastern, Ballard, and Manual) make me think this Madison Central team could give them a lot of the same problems that these 4 did.

 

I think Madison Central wins 38-35 and sets up a huge rematch @ Scott County.
