Preseason games in the 13th region...

Featured Replies

I really like Travis Smith. He's going to be a very good player for Corbin.

Manns isn't starting until after football season right? If so, that will be a big boost to Corbin. I'm not conceding the GRC game but he'd be a big body to push Vinny Zollo around next week.

I would have to guess he will not be on the hardwood until the football season is over.

Lynn Camp plays in the KBA showcase at Rupp Arena. I think Knox, South and Whitley are all playing in the same event as well. I thought Corbin was playing GRC in a scrimmage game in the next few days.

Does anybody know the schedule to this event?

I heard it was Friday afternoon, but I don't know what time, I would guess it will be fairly early due to football starting at 7:30, problely a bigger crowd if it was on Sat. should be a very good game.

Corbin 79-69 over Knott County. Stamper had 34 for the Patriots, Cox added 14. Five Hounds scored in double figures led by Josh Crawford with 19 points. Corbin was up 79-61 with 1:30 left, subbed down and Knott closed the gap. Both teams looked good at times and rough at times. Knott has great guard play and if their inside game comes around could win a lot of games. Corbin has to improve on the defensive end and share the ball like they did the second half. Knott led for most of three quarters then seemed to get tired late in the game, which affected their shooting abilty. Hounds should know where they stand a bit better after the GRC game this week.

Knott will be 1 or 2 in the 14th region all year long.
