Birds had a nice win last night against their sort of cross town rival. I think they play Campbell County next (Thurs?).

A very nice goal scored by Smith. A powerful header off a cornerkick. Beerman created havoc in the NCC backline. He is the best striker I have seen this season. He is a relentless worker. The kid is a pitch rat (the soccer equivalent of a gym rat). Every time I go to Tower Park to line the field, to check the irrigation system, to clean the locker room, Beerman is there with his personal set of cones and ball, dribbling through them over and over and over again. If I were a college coach, I would be all over this kid.
