I still can't find any updates on the guy. I guess no news is probably good news. At least I hope so.

I finally heard an update about this man today. He is in the Neurological ICU at UK and is in a coma. His vital signs are good but he's not responsing and is on a ventilator. The doctor warns that they could lose him at any time. It is a very delicate situation and too early to tell as he has swelling in the brain and a long list of other problems.
