BuckNut
The player that "downed" the ball at the 45 didn't actually run out of bounds and then back in did he? Nope! Talked some more with the coaching staff last night and the only call the official made was the ball was illegally touched. When the coaches argued about it they were warned about getting another 15yd penalty and basically dropped it. It very possibly could have made a difference but I don't want to make this a sour grapes issue. I appreciate the explanation and will file it away for future use. BuckNut
Nah. Sometimes our interpretations get misinterpreted. (Wrong is an ugly word in our world.) LOL:laugh:
JIM SEYMOUR # 85
Don't confuse NFL and NFHS rules. Too many coaches do that already. And PLEASE do not forget the NCAA - "Saturday Rules" as well. Concur with number of Coaches who do not really know or understand the Rules. Have heard Coaches argue about "Uncatchable ball" when assessed a Defensive Pass Interference Call - no such thing in High School. Etc. Anyway HR - good point.
