Final. I didn't see a thread on this one or a score on the scoreboard for it. Nice win for the Jumpers who continue to improve on defense. Scott Spears had a big night at quarterback as he went 22-37 for 357 yards and 4 touchdowns with no interceptions. He also ran for another score. After allowing an early Cardinal touchdown the defense shut Wayne out for the final 3 quarters and turned a 14-7 halftime lead into a rout. Good to see Derrick Jackson back from an ankle injury. Also thoughts and prayers go out to SHS linemen Michael Phelps, who suffered a knee injury in the first half and was in street clothes the second half, and Andrew Salmons whose father is seriously ill.

Nice effort from the Jumper for 4 quarters. Nice to see them buckle down and finish a game. We really seem to be moving in the right direction, just need to keep head down and keep working hard. Nice time for Bye week, should help with assorted bangs and bruises.

Our thoughts and prayers to Mike, I pray his knee is OK. Mike's a great kid (even if he did hit me in the head with a softball bat:lol:) and was really having a nice Senior season. Hope to see him back soon.
