Coal Grove is a small school, but they do have athletes. Like I said earlier, its not their skill position guys as much as their line that's killing the Hornets this season. I think that if Newport can contain Delawder (CG Fullback) then Newport will be alright, but if he breaks loose for 120 yards or more then Newport is in trouble.

Newport's O line needs a lot of work they have not gave the QB Collins time.

Does Coal Grove run out a single back set,or run give to the FB?

Unless they have changed this season, they are a power team. Three back sets, some two back sets, but I have never seen them in a one back formation.

Nice article, looks like its going to be a good game Newport has had a hard time stopping the run so far this year. Newport needs to get on track.

"If" Coal Grove is like they usually are they will be a 90% or higher run team. they would always run the football with a power attack right at you with some counters and traps thrown in, mixing a pass every great once in a while.

I have not seen Coal Grove at all this season so I am sure there will be someone that has and knows more about them than I. I was just going on their past history.

Thanks again OldRambler for your help.

Thanks for the input Ram and the poll.

No problem, and good luck. Where is this game? If it is at Coal Grove, Raceland and Fairview will be playing almost straight across the river, if you listen, you may be able to hear the cheering.

It's at Coal Grove. We will listen in on the game. Do they have them on the radio?

Well, normally, but for some reason two radio stations are covering the Ashland/Russell game and there is no coverage for the Raceland/Fairview game. These are the two big games this week for the area you would think both would be covered.

But, you can listen to the Russell/Ashland game and get scores. 105.7 FM and 97.1 FM. If you are rooting for Ashland listen to 97.1, if not listen to 105.7.:D
