In a debate with a friend of mine and she says there is times that it is not the right time to share the love of Jesus Christ with someone.

 

Is there a time that sharing the love of Jesus Christ with someone is the wrong time?????

IMO the people that think that its Ok at anytime to start sharing their views on the Gospel are potentially doing a disservice to the cause. Just because the message is deemed right doesn't mean its always the right time to give it. You have to know your audience.

I agree that the message has to be tempered with grace, love and mercy but it just doesn't feel right to say that there is a time that it is best to be silent about the love that Christ has for each of us.

 

I am NOT saying that you give the full bore message.

I am NOT saying that you speak on sinful lifestyles etc, etc.

 

Simply saying Jesus loves you. You know that right? He died on the cross to show you that love.

My view is planting seeds.

 

I might plant the seed and it be cultivated by someone else and even harvested by another Christian.

 

And I might get fortunate to harvest the seed planted by someone else.

But what if I never have another chance?

 

If I pass up the chance, how do I know I will ever have another chance? what if this is my one chance.

 

Let me add, I take my responsibility to witness as the MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT OF MY LIFE.

Some times no matter what your tack, the other person is intent on being offended.

 

Some times it is not your message nor what you say but they are going to be teed off on whether you say something or don't say something.
