How long has he been coaching at Assumption , and how long has OVVC and KIVA been in existence ?

I wasn't asking nor do I care about about KIVA wins . How long has he been a force in volleyball in the Louisville area ?

I mentioned KIVA because you asked about KIVA and OVVC....the answer is...I don't know...I do know that KIVA operated under a different name originally so the time that the KIVA website states is a little midleading...have a good day

I am about 99% sure this is his 19th season at Assumption.

The OVVC opened with 4 courts in 1993 then added the 2 additional in 1994.

OK 20 years ;) Congratulations Ron. 700 Wins is amazing

700 wins is amazing and I wasn't trying to insult KIVA . Congratulations to Ron I've met him a few times and he is a great coach that gets the most out of his players . I was wondering if his success at Assumption led to his building of OVVC and Kiva and the JO club that proceeded Kiva .

Ron did not have great success at ASH before he started club ball.

The Club that preceeded KIVA was KJVA.

Thanks couldn't remember their initials , but knew that they were very sucessfull under Kordes . The only other Louisville club that is defunct that I could remember my daughter playing against was Derby City and I knew that they weren't Kordes' club .

KIVA made his HS teams successfull, IMO, though it's the classic chicken-egg story.

Many of his KIVA kids go to AHS because of Kordes and his KIVA connection. They play for him at an early age at his club. Some kids who wouldn't have gone to AHS before will go there now if they are successful at club ball. It's a self fullfilling prophecy of sorts. You won't see a lot of MAVA kids at AHS. Also, kids go to become a national or state champ.

My kid peaked his and others interest very early at KIVA. But she just flat out didn't grow after 5th grade, and gave up vball in HS for another sport.
