September 8, 200818 yr A friend and I have watched the replay of Grutza's injury about six times. Will be a bit surprised if OU doesn't have at least one player suspended. What would they be suspended for? I saw the replay a few times (they showed it probably 4 times on the air) and I didn't see anything malicious. Good effort by Cincinnati, particularly in the 1st half. They're just outmatched. And rightfully so, as Oklahoma is one of the top teams in the nation.

I don't think it was anything malicious. It did look bad, but mostly because we knew Grutza was hurt. Right or wrong, that stuff goes on in football on a regular basis. Especially in college football games where emotions are flying high, on both sides of the ball.

Canfield has a bit of a temper, and took the appropriate action...
