Rich Brooks needs to be knocking on MC RB/LB/DE Keyshawn Simpson's door, this kid when healthy is an absolute STUD....made one of the best plays I have ever seen in a high school game: batted a pass into the air, caught the ball, and drug 6 or 7 MS defenders 15 yards to the 2 yard line. Keyshawn also had well over 100 yards rushing and multiple TDs. Several other Indians had great games as well...

 

I feel for Madison Southern, they will struggle to win a game this year...

I don't think anybody from Southern said they would contend for anything?...My kids play there and all that I've said is that their mentality would be better. These coaches are doing a good job I feel, but Southern is limited. In reality Southern has Rico Brown and not a whole lot to compliment him. Bell Co. is clearly the team in this district and won't have anyone in the district challenge them. I have seen two practices since school started and these coaches are pushing these kids harder than past coaches I have seen, but like I said with small numbers, and not much talent makes it tough. From the games I have seen the kids need to pick up themselves.

The staff is working hard, they will have some good things happen.

Keyshawn was a recruit for EKU at the EKU vs. WKU game. I think he could be a very good outside linebacker at UK or EKU.
