August 27, 200818 yr If McCain wins this will be the best thing for Hillary. McCain will not run in 2012 because he will probably be in a nursing home and Hillary will be the front-runner. She should be the Democratic nomination this year but it is what it is. Obama will be history if he does not win this election. I think any Dem is going to have a real tough time winning in 2012 regardless of who wins this year's election.
August 27, 200818 yr I don't buy all of the "he's only good at reading a speech" stuff. Although, if I were a dyed-in-the-wool McCain guy, I'd use that line as well. Are we really blasting a guy because he thinks his responses through instead of going off-the-cuff? Is that what we want in the White House? Have you listened to him when he didn't have a teleprompter? It's painful.

August 27, 200818 yr Does it say what states were in the "too close to call" category? The count included "leaners." IT didn't list it state by state. If you took out the "leaners" Obama had about 193 and McCain had about 180.
