West Carter and Fairview were slated to play in the first game of the grid-o-rama at Raceland last night. Does anyone have any info on that game?

Fairview 32

West Carter 14

Fairview looked good, I expect them to have a good season.

:thumb: Fairview is another one that I look to be FAR better than anyone expects from them.

Both teams had their moments. Fairview obviously looked better for the longer parts of the scrimmage. Their QB is quick and runs really well. They should be very good by seasons end. West had some bright spots, Burton and Cline looked good running the ball. One area of concern though, the Comets have got to protect QB Ace Puckett better. He honestly didn't have a second to throw the ball. This is too be expected with such and inexperienced line, but it has to improve, and I think it will. The defense will have to be more consistent. Overall lot of work to do, but I think West will be fine, that is what scrimmages are for.
