I wasn't there so I'm gonna need you to help me out a little. What did you think of both teams and why were you impressed with Harlan?

I haven't heard much about the Dragons, but did hear they had a rough go of it in their first scrimmage. What are they doing different now that impresses you?

New QB this year. He made a few deep completions and scrambled well. Running backs were solid. Defense impressed me most of all. Good pursuit against the run and better coverage by the DB's. Depth is going to be the biggest problem. Middlesboro seemed sleepy in the first period but came out and scored 3 times in the second period. Final score 27-7. I Think.

Thanks

Harlan Coach Donahue"

“I like this group of kids. They may not be the biggest or fastest or strongest that I’ve had over the years at Harlan, but they’ve got a good attitude and they’re working hard.”

Middlesboro Coach Roark: “I don’t like playing panoramas — never have,” he said. “We were just trying to work on some things that we need to work on. That’s why you scrimmage. We came back and took control of it — that showed some character there.”
