He claimed he would support the bill with certain provisions added- when those provisions were added he voted against it. Obama's supporters seem pretty quiet on this issue. Of course, given the great disparity in media coverage it would be unfair for the nation's mainstream media to put this little story of infanticide facilitation and the subsequent cover-up on the front page.

This story is slowly working its way to the front pages. McCain, or McCain's surrogates will make this a major issue because it will galvanize his support among social conservatives. The worst mistake Obama could have made was launching attack ads against McCain.

August 22, 200818 yr Obama may have found someone who agrees with him, a late addition to his list of potential VP candidates- Chet Edwards voted NO on The Partial-Birth Abortion Act of 2003, which banned Partial-Birth Abortion in all cases except when the woman's life is in danger.
August 22, 200818 yr :dancingpa:dancingpa However, isn't this an infringement upon a woman's right to choose? No, as the baby is then out of the womb, it is no longer part of the woman's body and therefor not subject to her will. I have no problem with what she does to the fetus inside her body.
