Final Fantasy XIII will be on the XBOX360 as well. This will be a first where the Final Fantasy franchise has been with Playstation and Nintendo forever.

Fanfreakintastic. Final Fantasy 6 (III for the SNES, which is the version I fell in love with so long ago) is my all time favorite videogame, and I've stuck with the series (XI excluded) only to see if they can match such an A+ combination of awesome graphics, music, cahracters, and story. Final Fantasy VII obviously won in the graphics department, music was good (not as good orchestral music as FFVI, but the Playstation's capabilities certainly outdid the SNES), and the story/characters were awesome, but they blended in FFVI so perfectly... I pretty much think they just need to remake it for a modern system, that's the only way to really surpass it.

You can like create a person like on the wii and some other things too. I didnt really like it

I just watched the press conference again, well the parts I missed anyway, and I actually like the new dashboard system I mean yeah it's similar to the Wii but I think it gives more interaction for when you're not playing a game or something..

FF6-10 were awesome. X-2, the one with all the girls was terrible.

I dunno what Sony has in store for this event but if they don't pull something big then they will be hurting. I mean Microsoft implementing the new dashboard, a partnership with NBC/Universal, NetFlix, Final Fantasy XIII, Gears of War 2, Resident Evil 5, Silent Hill, I mean I really see no reason to pay more for a PS3 and have the same games...Microsoft is also updating something with the resolution in games to make them look better I believe..Also the Pro model has seen a price cut from $349 to $299..

Not really impressed with Sony thus far...Resistance 2 and little big world looks pretty good but other than that everything looks average.

My friend said that Microsoft will be doing something with the Wii or something like that. Maybe you know anything about about it SvFan?

Here's my breakdown of the series since VI:

VI - BEST

VII - Amazing... if it had only tried to make a little more sense in some parts, but still amazing.

VIII - Good gameplay, I liked the graphics and the more 'adult' feeling, but overall it wasn't nearly as fun as the previous IMO.

IX - Very fun, but slightly too cartoonish and the main character was kind of, er... I'll just say 'strange'. Which leads to my similar disliking of the main character in

X - Blitzball stole the show. Very cool concept but lacked in a solid adhesive story.

XI - Never played

XII - I am ashamed of myself for never finishing this one. I actually found it to be the best since 7, although I'm pretty sure I was near the end and it never felt quite that 'EPIC' like the others. Oh yeah, and the main character once again is a far too effeminate male. Not that there's anything wrong with that... but it doesn't make you feel as hardcore when you're hacking away at enemies.

Oh yeah, and I actually thought X-2 was pretty cool with the job system and I didn't have as much a problem with effeminate characters if they were actually female. But yeah, it was a bit cheesy.

I saw that Microsoft is working with Rare which was with Nintendo. I know that Microsoft have sorta copied a similar version of the dashboard to the 360. Like the Mii's and stuff except these are called avatar's.
