..... may finally be gone for anyone who has ever played at Sheldon Clark's field. The word is the Cardinals are putting turf down on the field affectionately referred to as "The Rock".

 

The goal is to have everything in place before their home opener on September 12th. My intial response was "There is no way they can get everything surveyed, graded down, and installed by then"... then I realized half the work is already done because the field is already a gravel pit.

Definately wont be the same, played on it twice and it was hard, I don't think it ever affected game play but it was something for them to be proud of I guess.

This is definately not a rumor. Spoke with Coach Hager a few days and it seems like all plans are in place and it should be ready for the home opener.
