Longtime Harrison Co. Boys golf coach Jerry Dawson has called it a career after a very long run. I am not sure how long he has been coach at Harrison, but I'm thinking around 38-40 years. Hopefully someone from Cynthiana can fill us in on this.

You have to really admire and respect anyone that stays in a high school sport that long. He and Marty Donlon of St.X, who also retired this year after a lenghy career, are to be commended for their love of the sport and desire to see their kids progress and succeed.
