I would hardly call a team that went into their regional tournament with a losing record as "dominate."

I believe they've been dominate when it counts, in the post season. And what happened to X? Sounds like sour grapes to me. However, it still sucks for the public schools in the 7th region.

No sour grapes at all. The better team on that day won. Simply stating that a team that loses four games on the year by 8 or more runs and ends up with a losing record before the regional tournament begins is hardly "dominate."

 

It's sad that people like you pull against a team just because they're a private school.

On to Lexington for "Billy Ball". The Centurions had a three run homer in the first game vs. Central Hardin. It's not always little ball or small ball. Amazing story.

No, what's sad is that my best player and his mom have told me time and time again that people from St. X "talk" to them all the time. I'm sure it's b.c he has a 2.8 GPA, not that he hit .420 as a freshman this year, or that he plays football and basketball fairly well also. Funny, he nor his mom have ever said anyone has told them about X's chemistry or math departments at school, but he knows a whole lot about your ball teams. I know, I know, this stuff doesn't happen and he's only making it up. Private schools seem to be doing well even with "people like me" pulling against them. That and 20 million in new athletic fields makes it all an even field.

This thread is about CAL and Central Hardin. The other stuff belongs in another forum.
