I guess it was Mercers turn to win.. I mean after all Somerset has put Mercer out of the Regional Tournament the past 2 years!

Somerset beat Mercer the past two years because they were the best team that day.

Just like Mercer was twice this year! It had nothing to do with turns or umpires or even portable pots.
