South Laurel 2008/09

Lets try this again. What must they do to continue to be tops in the 13th?

Outscore their opponents and play solid defense.

Losing Wombles will hurt, but Dean is solid.

Do they have any incoming Freshman that can help them?

I think Dean could be a 15-20 point scorer on this team, becouse they have to pick up some points by someone now that Wombles is gone.

It will take a total team effort .Not one person can do it all.

You'r right, I was just saying Dean will be the go to gal this season.

Word is South Laurel is looking great in AAU this summer.

Any news on how SLHS is doing in AAU this summer?

Can SLHS get back to the state in 2009?

Yes, .... but there are some very talented teams in the 13th who bring back a ton of talent in 2008-2009. Clay County comes to mind immediately along with Middlesboro.

It will be very tough to keep Clay Co. out with that Jackson girl, she really impressed me last season. I also think the young group at NL will be better.

I hope South makes it back to state in 2009-but will have a tough road to travel with Clay and Middlesboro as obsticals in their path.

It will be really tough, but who know's.

Does South Laurel have any Freshman that could help their cause this season?

Who will start this season for the CARDS?
