statmanhensley
The groundscrew here at Champion Window Field has decided to tarp the field for the time being but the games are still planned to go on as scheduled. I'll keep everyone informed as to what is going on as soon as I get word myself.

ladycolonelfan
How long will they hold out to see if the rain is going to let up before they call the games on account of rain for tonight & reschedule? There's thunder & lightning going on right now too.

nees1212
Does Freedom's schedule allow for their field to be used this week if these games are washed? If rained out tonight, then they'll play tomorrow and Friday according to the local paper.
cooperstown
If rained out tonight, then they'll play tomorrow and Friday according to the local paper. A Friday night regional championship game at Freedom would draw a huge crowd.
nees1212
Can someone clarify if rain-out days do not count as pitcher rest days??:confused: Based on another thread, I'm still a little confused on that. I know the coaches agreed that rain-outs do not count as a days rest. However, I think that only becomes a factor with one game is completed and one is rained out on the same day. If all games are rained out, it was mentioned that it might count as a days rest. My reasoning for rain is that I can't make the game tonight. And depending how much rain we get tonight, then there will be a slim chance that I can make tomorrow's game.
