Then the argument would be this years 3 year old crop was just plain bad and thats whey he won the Triple Crown but wasn't great because he couldn't beat older horses, such as Curlin. However, if he raced Curlin and they offered the same odds, my money would be on Big Brown I think.
May 19, 200818 yr He hand rode him the entire race.....Big Brown breezed this race, and is already back in NY....the Belmont will be a who's who of 3 year olds....I had a great betting day, other than my try....stupid Gayego..... Big Brown is the class of the 3 year olds, I can't wait to see him go against Curlin either in the Travers or in the Classic. Curlin can't run in the Travers. It's for 3yo only, just like the Haskell at Monmouth, another late-summer stakes for 3yo.
