Great for the young man. Centre's a tremendous school that will serve his career well. However, you don't sign any athletic letter of intent with a D-III school. So technically, North Oldham still doesn't have a signee, just an alum playing college football.

 

 

This was probably the biggest step into a bright future for this young man. He has now just been given the opportunity to play the sport that he loves all the while getting the best education Kentucky has to offer. Actually he just sign up to one of the top 50 liberal arts schools in the country. The Harvard of the South. Congrats.

 

Just curious how many from North Oldham were accepted to Centre. Tuff school to get into. They only take about 300 freshman per year. Heard this football class was one of the largest at 32. Great class and looking forward to a great year. The offense looks great this year as well does the defense. The whole atmosphere of the spring fling yesterday was much more up beat and had a little more (alot) more fire than last year. Looking forward to the '08 season and I think this freshman class is really going to be an asset.

We have several every year that could go. Out of this years team 7-10 would qualify. 5-10 could athletically play there, many chose to be a student at a large school instead of playing football at a smaller level. Hopefully more will chose to play football at schools like Centre, instead of just being another student at a larger school.
