Holmes senior defensive back/wide receiver Rashad Palmer will attend the University of Kentucky as a walk-on, according to Holmes coach Stephen Lickert.

Palmer (6-0, 175) led the Bulldogs in receiving and interceptions in 2007.

Congrats on the chance to play college ball and further his education !!

Congrats Mr Palmer and Good Luck in college ! :thumb:

Good luck to this young man in the future!!!!!

From what I'm hearing, Palmer will be used as a DB and also used to to return punts so they can utilize his speed (4.4) and athleticism.

He could very well earn a scholarship at UK; he is a tremendously strong athlete as well to go with his speed.
