Cooper Competing at the Varsity Level

Featured Replies

Think about the Srs who were forced to transfer and won't get to play varsity.

Next year's seniors have the option to stay at their current school.

So will all of the division I schools be playing Cooper in a sport like basketball? I just can't see a brand new school like that playing the likes of Holmes, Covcath, Boone, or any of the other big name schools their first year.

They should start out against the smaller schools (Calvary, Dayton, Villa, Bellevue, etc.) and work their way up through the years.

Cooper will play the NKAC schedule like that of Ryle and Boone and Conner. They are in the 33rd and need to be prepared.

Next year's seniors have the option to stay at their current school.

Sorry, I did not know that.

Usually underclassmen get better by working WITH the upperclassmen. In this situation who do they have to learn from other than hopefully experienced coaches. In my opinion getting a woodshed beating by some of these established varsity programs won't make the Cooper teams any better as a team. Everyone responds differently, some will get better eventually, and some will see it as a waiste of time.

Nicely stated. :thumb:
