April 9, 200818 yr Author Looks like Ford is NOT heading to LSU!! He annouced yesterday that he was not interested in the LSU job. I'm not saying that some of you don't have reliable sources because I know at least a couple of you do but be careful when posting something when saying that things are for sure or set in concrete. You all know as well as I do the way things work in this business. Instead of posting something and saying that it's definately true, it's going to be announced tomorrow, or you can take it to the bank, try putting things in perspective and realistic terms. I enjoy reading these coaching threads but it getting difficult because of all the "rumors" people hear and post them like the word of the college basketball god or something. It's ridiculous. When posting on a rumor, just but it in realistic and perspective terms. It will keep your credibility intact also!It wasn't a rumor. When multiple D1 coaches verify the info, it's done. Like stated in the other thread, this one is on LSU, someone down there keeps getting cold feet, and they have backed out twice now when things were 99% finished. They agreed on terms with Grant, then didn't even talk to him, just stopped contact all together. They agreed with Ford, same thing. This one's on LSU. They have messed it up so bad at this point, I can't see why anyone would seek this job out. That place is in shambles.
