Breathitt 8, Jackson City 0

Featured Replies

Breathitt played a great game, no errors on defense, good pitching and hitting. Jackson looked a little unsure on defense, committing at least 5 errors that let a lot of unearned runs in. They had trouble making good contact and when they did they hit it straight to a fielder.

Landsaw pitched for Breathitt and Hayes for Jackson. Both showed pretty good control, didn't see any passed balls.

Corey Davidson of Jackson had a highlight moment with a diving layout catch in center.

Breathitt's pitcher was Tanner Lawson, not Landsaw. My bad.

I really thought that Jackson City would be the better team. Still to early in the season to tell, though.

You're correct, it IS early and things could change BUT, Breathitt won 2-3 last year with Jackson. Also, the Bobcats return all starters from '07, and playing only one senior this year, and won with their #2 or #3 pitcher on Tues. Which doesn't guarantee anything by the time they meet again! LOL

No doubt that Breathitt should have the better team. JC just stands out to me for some reason. Could be their coach.
