Two in a row for Coach Moore's boys. Thought the Judd kid looked good, once he consistently locates his curve ball he will be dangerous. Babs struggled with his control for the Tigers.

Didn't think the Jones kid played well at all tonight. 3 errors in the first few innings, got piked off first. Just didn't look like he was on top of it tonight

Looks like both clubs will have to work on developing back up pitching. Both clubs reliefe guys looked pretty average.

Heard he looked real rough in their scrimmage game against Beechwood over the weekend, too.

Watching Jones play today, it seems apparent that he has some raw talent that has yet to be reined in. He was very smooth in his warmups and showed a good arm, but at times during the game it appeared as though he simply tried to make the routine plays a lot more difficult than they needed to be. But the kid is only a sophomore and with experience I believe those mistakes will go away. He did however make a couple of amazing plays in the field and swung a decent bat.

As for the Juggs, they appeared a little more flat than in their win over Conner. I thought Judd walked a few too many hitters and along with a few errors in the field with a key Bellevue hit or two thrown in, that seemed to be what cost him his only runs. But after Bellevue battled back to tie it at 6, Lloyd responded well with a 6 run outburst in the bottom of the 5th that seemed to deflate the opponents.

It is great to see Lloyd start the year 2-0. Coach Moore does a great job with those kids so hopefully he will be able to keep the momentum rolling for the rest of the week before the team heads down to Florida for a little bit warmer weathered baseball.

I believe they play all week before they head to FL. Game tonight, Fri, and Sat, before they leave Sun. They will have time to shake off any off season cobwebs before they head to FL. Go Juggs!

Stopped by this one while out exercising watched 3 inning's and left when the game was tied. Lloyd definitely looked different to me from past year's. They seemed real confident at the plate and when Bellevue tied it they just came right back. It sure was cold with the wind blowing and I finally gave up due to the cold. Yes Coach Moore and his staff do a fine job and I wish them well this week and the rest of the season. Plan to attend more games when they get back from Floriday it should be warmer and more pleasant. JD

Bellevue is heading down to FL as well next week too. Represent KY good boys.
