Lincoln County High School is hosting the Girls' 12th Region basketball Tournament on March 3, 4, 7, and 8. WPBK-FM, Lincoln County's radio station, will broadcast all 5 of the Regional Tournment games and will have a live call-in show each night after the games. The show will feature participating coach's interviews, game recaps and fan reaction. The station can be heard over the air in Central and Southeast Kentucky at 102.9 and worldwide at www.wpbkfm.com. Here are the pairings: Game 1 Lincoln County vs. Wayne County (Monday 6 PM) Game 2 East Jessamine vs. Casey County (Monday 7:30 PM) Game 3 Southwestern vs. Mercer County (Tuesday 6 PM) Game 4 Rockcastle County vs. Danville (Tuesday 7:30 PM) Game 5 Winner of Game 1 vs. Winner of Game 2 (Friday 6 PM) Game 6 Winner of Game 3 vs. Winner of Game 4 (Friday 7:30 PM) Game 7 Winner of Game 5 vs. Winner of Game 6 (Saturday 7:30 PM)

Mr.Network Posted March 7, 2008 Author Posted March 7, 2008 Tonight's games feature: Lincoln County v Casey County Merer County v Rockcastle County The Final will be tomorrow night unless the weather gets as bad as expected. Then, plans are being put in place to play it on Sunday afternoon. The 12th Region winner plays the 3rd Region Champ in the Girls' Sweet Sixteen in Bowling Green. On tonight's show, we will have interviews with the 3rd Regional Finalists (Mike Harper from Muhlenberg North and Brad Johnson from Ohio County). The show begins after the conclusion of the Mercer County/Rockcastle County game.
