:dancingpa:dancingpaPulaski Boys advance to face Somerset on Friday night in the 47th

Pulaski was down 11-4 in the 1st qtr then went on a 21-5 run in the 2nd to take control. Casey made a run in the 3rd but PC was able to weather the storm & pull away thru the 4th. Great job guys,& good luck Friday night in the finals.

I have a feeling there will be just a few more people in the gym Friday when the Maroons take on Somerset.

With SW's upset of McCreary, that puts all 3 local boys teams in the 12 region tournament(PC, SHS, SW). Congrats & good luck to all of our local teams.

Good Job Pulaski Co. and Coach Flynn

Did Whitis play tonight?

Should be a barn burner in the rubber match with Somerset Friday night.

Yes, Whitis played. Not only did he play, he had 15pts for PC & was named the National Guard Player of the Game. That was an amazing effort for a kid who wasn't even expected to play due to an ankle injury. Pulaski did an outstanding job on defense & on the boards tonight. The Maroons avenge 2 losses this season to Casey.

I am glad to hear that he is OK. I like his game.

Maybe there is something to the saying that its hard to beat a team 3 times in a season.

It would appear that way.

That tired old saw only depends on how good or bad the two teams are. Just tonight, Lexington Catholic beat Lexington Christian for the 3rd time, Lincoln County did it to Danville, Adair County did it to Campbellsville and Ashland did it to Fairview, and there were others. Ain't that hard if you're the better team.

The entire PC team played their hearts out tonight. You could see the Sr's did not want this to be their last game in a Maroon uniform. It should be another classic when PC & Somerset hook up Friday. The best part is, no matter who wins or loses, both are in the 12 Region tournament. Good luck to both.

So your saying that with a 4-21 record that Southwestern was the better team last night as they upset a 24-4 McCreary Central?
