Whitley County 37 Corbin 32

Featured Replies

Final. Corbin had several chances to tie or take the lead at the end but was unable to score on three chances late in the game. Corbin missed several two shot free throws and was unable to take advantage of a great defensive game. Good luck to Whitley County.

The Lady Colonels survive.

Good win for Whitley.

Congrats to the Lady Hounds on their effort tonight. They had a very good chance to pull this one out, they are just limited offensively and have to play extremely hard and smart against the more talented teams such as Whitley.

Another good job from Coach Parsons and the Lady Hounds.:thumb:

A great game to watch-as always! I felt Corbin had a good game plan in making it a physical game, but I do feel the team with the most talent won out in the end. Just wondering what the shooting percentage was for each team. This was by far the lowest scoring game I had ever seen from each team. Whitley has a great defensive team-good luck to them in the finals of the district. I have truly enjoyed watching this group of girls (Wombles, Brimm, Holbrook, and Rogers) play against each other for these past 6 years or so. I hope they continue playing throughout their college years. Ladies, good luck in your future endeavers.
