LCC beat Jenkins and has advanced to face JBS in the semi-finals of the 53rd District. The game will be played on Wednesday Feb. 27 at 7:30 @Knott Central. LCC had JBS beat in both meetings this season and JBS has struggled down the stretch, but still is one of the favorites in the region. Any thoughts about this one?

I think it will be another good one between these two. I'll take JBS in a tough one by 4.

I will take Letcher by 5, just because I like a good upset. I know it wouldn't be a real big upset because Letcher is pretty tough, but JBS still has to be a slight favorite

Going with heart not head...LCC by 3 is my prediction.

Cox has had time to get healed and should be close to 100%, unless his injury is worse than what they thought. If he is healthy, he is the type of player that won't let them lose. Clark will do his thing, but when it gets down to crunch time, if he is healthy, Cox will take over the game and do what needs to be done, whether it is to hit Collins in the post or Clint on the wing for a 3, or drive himself to the basket, he can do it all. Clark will get his 20+ and Tate should do the rest 15-18 pts, 8-10 assists, Jbs wins by 6.

 

If Cox is not healthy and they rely on how they have played the last 5 or so games, Letcher by 5.
