From the Kentucky Enquirer...36th district preview and seed or draw debate. Let the fun begin!

Ninth Region can wait

36th District games up first

Two of the best games in the Ninth Region boys' and girls' basketball tournaments will be played out before the Ninth Region tournaments even begin.

That's because when postseason tournament play begins today there is a first-round matchup in both the boys' and girls' 36th District pitting two of the top eight ranked teams in each of the Enquirer coaches' polls.

I'm assuming it was Ryan Ernst, but I know they have two other writers as well.

"It is what it is"

We can't do anything about the way the tournament goes. I love Ryan Ernst and agree that the state should agree to seed every district just to make it fair. But as of now this is the way it has been since I can remember.

Most of the time the draw has been in "bigger and better" schools favor. 1 time out of the last 8 yrs it has ended up where NCC and Highlands meet in the first round.

It all comes down to this........If you wanna keep playing, you must win!!!!
